Unlike many other stagers, Preferred Staging does not charge to preview a vacant home. We will prepare a comprehensive quote for our staging services so you know exactly what you will be receiving for your investment.

PS PRE-LISTING CONSULTATIONS

Preferred Staging’s pre-listing consultation is an important marketing tool that provides valuable insight from a buyers’ point of view.  Formulated for occupied homes, our consultation will help the seller prepare and present their property for professional photographs and listing.

Our Preferred Stager will offer an immediate assessment and specific recommendations on how to enhance the value of each room. Over the course of the consultation, we provide expert guidance to help maximize the value of the property.

Our consultations are designed as a running conversation with the seller and incorporate elements of environmental science, the psychology of home buying, and on-trend design techniques. We will address color and paint recommendations, existing furniture placement, rug, accessories and art, lighting and other fixtures, and the benefit of investing (or not) in small projects and updates.

What to expect:

  • A thorough and respectful evaluation of the property

  • A pre-listing package of information and tips as well as our proprietary full-house checklist to help the seller stay on track with their progress

  • Ideas and suggestions using what already exists in the house

  • A prioritized list to guide the seller on their next steps

  • The seller should be prepared to take notes

Consultations are $350 for up to 2 hours and are prorated to the quarter hour thereafter.
